AEW Rampage saw a drop in its key figures for Friday night’s program while finishing tenth among cable originals for the night.
The July 8th taped edition of the show from Rochester averaged 428,000 viewers and approximately 196,000 (0.15) among the 18-49 demographic with data from Showbuzz Daily and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

The show dropped by ten percent in overall viewership and the key declined by six percent. Last week’s program finished third on cable while this week the ranking slipped to tenth among cable originals.
In the breakdown of the 18-49 demo, the loss was felt among the female viewership which decreased by 25 percent from last week while the male audience in the demo was even week over week.
Adults 18-34 were also flat with the previous week’s performance but there was a great disparity among the 12-34 audience. Males 12-34 shot up from 29,000 to 53,000 this week and females 12-34 declined from 33,000 to 24,000.
Adults 35-49 dropped by nine percent and 50+ had a drop of five percent.
Since returning to its regular time slot of 10 p.m. ET on TNT after being bounced around for four weeks, Rampage has averaged 443,000 viewers and 185,000 in 18-49 over six episodes.
Friday’s episode was headlined by Orange Cassidy defeating Tony Nese and opened with a match between Eddie Kingston and Konosuke Takeshita with the latter receiving heavy praise from those in attendance last week during the tapings.
