AEW continued its streak finishing first among cable originals for the fourth consecutive week.

The first week of ‘Fyter Fest’ averaged 942,000 viewers and approximately 417,000 (0.32) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

It was Dynamite’s lowest figures since June 22nd, which aired against the Stanley Cup Finals.

‘Fyter Fest’ finished first among cable originals on Wednesday beating out Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (0.26), Tucker Carlson Tonight (0.25), and The Five (0.23) on Fox News. Six of the top ten cable programs were news programs focused on the January 6th hearings.

Numbers in many of the key areas dropped from last week’s episode including a four percent reduction in overall viewership, an 11 percent drop among adults 18-49, and 32 percent loss with adults 18-34.

In the 18-49 demo, female viewership decreased by 20.5 percent and the male audience declined by nine percent.

Last week, Dynamite topped Raw in adults 18-34 and males 18-49 while this week Raw topped Dynamite across the board among the key demos.

The exceptions were seen in the older demographics as adults 35-49 increased by four percent and adults 50+ grew by five percent from last week’s episode.

In Canada, the show averaged approximately 109,000 viewers and 68,000 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2. Those figures compare to 122,300 viewers and 60,700 in the demo they posted for last week’s episode.

‘Fyter Fest’ was headlined by a ‘Triple or Nothing’ match for the AEW Tag Team Championship along with Wardlow defending the TNT Championship against Orange Cassidy, and a non-title match between interim champion Jon Moxley and Konosuke Takeshita.
