Roxanne Perez issued a challenge to her former tag team partner Cora Jade for NXT Heatwave on August 16th. Jade declined the challenge and was then approached by NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. Rose proposed that if Jade can take out Zoey Stark in their singles match next week, she can have Stark’s Women’s Title opportunity at Heatwave.

Scheduled for next week’s program is a Rounds match between Wes Lee and Trick Williams.

In the main event of the 8/2 show, Solo Sikoa bested Von Wagner in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
