This is going to be the second matchup between Kingston and Ishii. They met at NJPW Capital Collision in Washington D.C. where Ishii got the win in a 16-minute bout.
Originally, Kingston called out Sammy Guevara for a match at All Out. Kingston had been suspended from AEW following an altercation with Guevara. He later issued a statement to PWInsider and admitted his wrongdoing in the situation and noted that he was unprofessional.
