The Alamodome to host the Royal Rumble again.
On Wednesday, it was formally announced by San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg and WWE that the 2023 Royal Rumble event will be held in San Antonio, Texas. The Alamodome is hosting next year’s annual Premium Live Event and it is taking place January 28th.
San Antonio hosted the Royal Rumble in 1997, 2007 and 2017. Nirenberg expressed his excitement about hosting this event once again.
We are thrilled to bring back one of WWE’s most exciting events of the year to San Antonio. The Royal Rumble will bring tens of thousands of WWE fans from around the world to the Alamodome, bringing both an incredible economic boost to our beautiful city and community outreach events that will give back in a multitude of ways.
Tickets for the event go on-sale for the general public September 30th. Priority passes are going to be available on 9/9. The marquee matches for the show are the women’s and men’s Rumble matches.
