FTR to defend IWGP Tag Team Championships at Royal Quest II

FTR is set to defend the IWGP Tag Team Championships on the first night of Royal Quest II.

NJPW announced that Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler will defend the titles on Saturday, October 1^st against Aussie Open’s Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher.

This comes after Aussie Open issued a challenge to FTR at NJPW’s Music City Mayhem this past July in Nashville, Tennessee.

FTR became the IWGP tag team champions at Forbidden Door by defeating Jeff Cobb & Great O-Khan and Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero in a match where the ROH tag titles were also on the line.

Royal Quest II takes place at Crystal Palace on October 1 & 2 in London, England, and will be streaming on New Japan World.
