Coming up for the New Japan STRONG product is the ‘New Japan Showdown’ taping on October 16th in Los Angeles, California. There have been eight matches pushed out for the taping and the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kenny King, Homicide, Minoru Suzuki and Christopher Daniels are going to be in action.

Earlier today, New Japan revealed the news that prior to Antonio Inoki’s passing, they were planning to formally announce him as the company’s Honorary Chairman for life. Inoki and NJPW reached an agreement in early September.
