UPDATE !! Arisa Nakajima Vacates SEAdLINNNG BEYOND THE SEA Championship! Nakajima was injured during her championship defense against Hiroyo Matsumoto on August 17th. The plan was for her to have her return match on October 19th at Korakuen Hall, except her rehabilitation process is taking longer than expected. A one-day single elimination tournament will be held to determine the next champion. In this week’s episode, the three finalists: Wakana Uehara, Himari Manaka & Risako draw lots to see who their opponents will be for their final assessment at Shinjuku FACE on October 14th. The participants played Rock, Paper, Scissors to determine the order in which the lots were drawn. Then based on the number the picked, the staff played a video for their assigned opponent.

When I interviewed Yuna Manase earlier this summer, she opened my eyes to the world of GanbarePro Wrestling. Lately, they’ve been putting entire shows on YouTube for free, so this week I wanted to share last Sunday’s show at Itabashi Green Hall, where Manase fought against Hartley Jackson for the Spirit of Ganbare Openweight Championship. You can also get a feel for the scope of wrestling in GanPro, and I quite like it!
