Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has revealed the card for its next weekend, which will be held in memory of Alan “Dink” Denkenson.
Denkenson was a renowned sports bettor, who was the inspiration for Bruce Willis’ character in the 2012 film Lay the Favorite. Denkenson was a huge wrestling fan and was a regular at PWG events and promoted his own shows.
The card will be held on Sunday, November 6th at The Globe Theatre in Los Angeles with the following matches announced by the promotion:
*PWG Championship: Daniel Garcia (champion) vs. Jonathan Gresham
*Lio Rush vs. Speedball Mike Bailey
*Bandido, Komander & Aramis vs. Black Taurus, Laredo Kid & Latigo
*Jordynne Grace vs. Masha Slamovich
*Evil Uno & Stu Grayson vs. Trey Miguel & Myron Reed
*Davey Richards vs. Shane Haste
*Titus Alexander vs. Rey Horus
Tickets for the show go on sale next Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.
