New Japan announces Battle in the Valley as its first major international event of 2023

During Friday night’s Rumble on 44th Street NJPW special in New York City, the company announced its first major US-based event for 2023.

Battle in the Valley II will take place on Saturday, February 18th at the San Jose Civic in California.

The first Battle in Valley event took place at the same venue on Saturday, November 13th, 2021. That show saw the NJPW debuts of JONAH and Buddy Matthews, as well as Kazuchika Okada’s first US appearance since 2019.

No match announcements have yet been made, but the event poster features Okada and Jay White.

According to the official NJPW website, tickets go on general sale on Friday, November 4th, with a presale on November 2nd. Fans can sign up for the presale at this link.
