NJPW TAMASHII cards changed around due to Cobb’s absence.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s TAMASHII brand is scheduled to have its first two events this weekend on November 11th (Christchurch, New Zealand) and 13th (Sydney, Australia).

In an update on those respective match cards, Jeff Cobb, who was scheduled for both shows is no longer appearing due to personal reasons. At the New Zealand show, Cobb was going to wrestle Michael Richards and at the 11/13 event, he was facing Carter James.

Here is NJPW’s statement about Cobb not appearing this weekend:

Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Jeff Cobb, who was scheduled to appear on NJPW TAMASHII events on November 11 in Christchurch New Zealand and November 13 in Sydney Australia will unfortunately be unable to appear due to personal reasons.

We apologize to fans who were looking forward to seeing Cobb wrestle, and appreciate your understanding. The following changes have been made to the two cards.

Over the weekend, Cobb was in action to wrap up NJPW’s Battle Autumn tour. He and Great-O-Khan unsuccessfully challenged FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) for the IWGP Tag Team Championships.
