WWE heading back to India in the new year, per report.
It was five years ago this month that WWE last held one of their events in India. The company is scheduled to head back to the country in the new year, as first reported by Sportskeeda.
The site published a story in November about the ‘most likely’ date for WWE’s return to India being January 18th and it taking place in Hyderabad.
PWInsider independently confirmed those details and noted that the company is scheduled to return on 1/18/23. The event is emanating from G.M.C. Balayogi Sports Complex which is an indoor stadium in Hyderabad that has a capacity of 5,000 people.
The show has not been formally announced by WWE.
In January 2021, WWE held their ‘Superstar Spectacle’ event which was a showcase of their Indian talents.
