Missa Kate signs with NWA

Missa Kate reveals that she signed a deal with the National Wrestling Alliance

Missa Kate joins the NWA roster.

The National Wrestling Alliance has added two names to their official talent roster in Joe Alonzo and Missa Kate. Joe revealed the news on his social media platforms and Kate broke the news of her signing when she was called on the phone on Robert Anthony’s ‘Podding With Ego’ podcast

Anthony, who wrestles in NWA as ‘Cyon’, was present when NWA Director of Talent Relations, Pat Kenney, offered her-her deal.

They discussed Kate signing and she thanked Anthony for throwing her name out there and expressed how grateful she is for him.

Kate: I, Missa Kate, have also signed a professional wrestling contract… Well, you [Robert Anthony] made me cry.

Anthony: We didn’t get to the signing part of it, but spoiler alert, they [NWA] let me sit in the room which was super special to me while they offered Joe [Alonzo] a contract and then Joe had to go get Missa and I got to sit there as they offered Missa a contract. I made her cry afterwards.

Kate: Which he did it the creepiest way — not the creepiest way but the most weirdest way possible where I’m like, all right, I’m definitely going to the principal’s office and I’m getting in trouble for something. I walk in and you’re in there and then Pat [Kenney] was in there. I’m just like, oh, I did something bad… It’s weird [the signing being official]. It’s one of those things, I guess it’s something you’re always chasing and then once you get it, it’s kind of like, oh, I did something. Now what? So now I have new goals and aspirations and whatnot moving forward so… I did wanna say thank you to Rob because without you literally throwing my name in the hat and pushing me and all that other stuff to get to NWA, I wouldn’t be there so I just wanted to say thank you [for] that and yeah, I know I already told you this already but I’m always gonna be grateful for you for doing that.

Anthony: The fact that the NWA trusted my opinion on two people enough to make a financial decision, commitment on them means everything to me. So I’m happy that it was you two because I know that you’re not gonna embarrass yourselves, you’re not gonna embarrass me and hopefully this leads to many more contracts my friends.

Missa Kate has been wrestling since 2018. She had her first foray into the NWA in 2021 when she competed on the Hard Times 2 pre-show
