Ruca looks back on the reaction she received from the finisher.
On the December 9th episode of NXT Level Up, Sol Ruca went one-on-one with Valentina Feroz.
The match concluded after Ruca hit her finisher where she used the top rope to flip herself inward and land a ‘Cutter’ on Feroz. A clip of the move went viral and drew the attention of Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.
Ruca was profiled by FOX News Digital and said she was not expecting the response she got about the move.
When I saw that [Triple H’s response], I literally didn’t even know what to do. I was like, ‘Oh my God, do I reply to him? Do I quote tweet?’ Like, I was freaking out. It’s insane. Especially it being on Level Up, which is like the development of NXT. It was crazy. I did not expect it to go viral. I was shocked.

As far as her goals in NXT, she wants to set the bar for the women’s division. Sol highlighted NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Katana Chance as someone who has a different move set and separates herself from the pack.
I really want to kind of set a bar for the women’s division. I kind of want to bring a different style and different level of competitiveness. Same with Katana Chance. She is so different from everyone else, like her moves is so different. And I think that there needs to be more women out there in the women’s division that can do those sort of moves and stuff like that. And I want to be a part of that.
Sol has wrestled in 21 matches since joining WWE. Her most recent TV match was on November 22nd against Zoey Stark.
