A new look for the KOPW Title.
The King of Pro Wrestling trophy was established within New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2020. The likes of Toru Yano, Shingo Takagi, Minoru Suzuki, Chase Owens and Taichi have been in possession of the trophy.
At today’s Road to Tokyo Dome event, a physical KOPW Championship belt was unveiled.
The New Japan Ranbo on the first day of Wrestle Kingdom 17 will determine who qualifies to compete for the belt.

The latest defense was on December 19th at Taichi and TAKA Michinoku’s joint event. Shingo Takagi bested Taichi to retain.
