Myers is going to be with IMPACT through 2023.

In the summer of 2020, Brian Myers’ return to IMPACT Wrestling was promoted and heading into the new year, it is confirmed that he’ll be with the company for the foreseeable future.

Myers told Sports Illustrated that he signed a contract extension with IMPACT that goes through 2023. He said it was an easy decision to make and it’s a place where his talent is going to get the most opportunity.

This was an easy decision for me. It’s a place where my talent is going to get the most opportunity. That’s what is important to me.

On top of wrestling for IMPACT and becoming the company’s world champion, Myers wants to get some of his talents from Create A Pro into IMPACT. He mentioned that AEW President Tony Khan has signed a good portion of his trainees.

One of my goals for 2023 is to get a Create A Pro talent with me at IMPACT Wrestling. Tony Khan has scooped up every single one so far, but I’d like to get to the point where there is a Create A Pro talent in every promotion, starting with IMPACT.

At IMPACT’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view in January, Myers and Matt Cardona will be in a four-way elimination tag for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships.
