WWE adds Banks’ profile to the alumni section.
Following the IWGP Women’s Championship bout at Wrestle Kingdom 17 between the reigning champion KAIRI and Tam Nakano, Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks, debuted for New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Her appearance was to set up the IWGP Women’s Title match between herself and KAIRI at NJPW Battle in the Valley on February 18th.
As of this writing, the ‘Sasha Banks’ profile has been moved to the ‘alumni’ section of WWE’s website. It had been listed on the ‘SmackDown’ roster dating back to when Banks and Trinity Fatu (Naomi) walked out of WWE up until her appearance at Wrestle Kingdom.
She spent the last decade of her career with WWE.
