The full card for January’s New Japan Pro Wrestling vs. Pro Wrestling NOAH show has been unveiled.
The show is being billed as night 2 of Wrestle Kingdom 17, and comes after the two promotions held a similar joint event in January 2022.
Set for January 21st at Yokohama Arena, the event will be headlined by a best-of-five series of singles matches between NOAH’s Kongo faction and NJPW’s Los Ingobernables de Japon.
The series was set up when LIJ’s Shingo Takagi, BUSHI, SANADA, and Tetsuya Naito were confronted by Kongo members Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Manabu Soya, Tadasuke, and Hajime Ohara at the post Wrestle Kingdom press conference on Wednesday.
LIJ defeated Kongo in an eight-man tag match at the NJPW vs. NOAH show at Yokohama Arena on January 8th, 2022.
