Bryan Danielson had glowing praise for Konosuke Takeshita after their match on AEW Dynamite.
The veteran performer was interviewed backstage at the Kia Forum and stated he was looking forward to the match and hearing how great Takeshita, but needed to “feel it” for himself in the ring.

Danielson said after the first forearm was thrown, he could tell Takeshita was a special performer.
“I’ve been in the ring with some of the best wrestlers in the world, some of the best wrestlers of all time and I think by the end, we’re going to be talking about Takeshita in the same way.”
Takeshita’s match against Danielson in Inglewood wrapped up a week that included four matches at PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles last weekend. Takeshita beat Michael Oku on the first night of the tournament and followed that performance with matches against Titus Alexander, Komander, and Speedball Mike Bailey on the second night.
