Days after her resignation from WWE, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque underwent an operation on her ankle.
The outgoing co-CEO and former chief brand officer at WWE posted the following update on Friday morning:
Busy week! Thank you Dr. Waldrop, @AndrewsSportMed and the Orthopaedic Center Staff for fixing my ankle! And to Kevin Wilk @ChampionSportsM for already getting me started on rehab! (And of course to my amazing caregiver @TripleH ❤️) #RoadtoRecovery pic.twitter.com/s8v3rtqqRs

On Tuesday, McMahon-Levesque announced she was resigning from the company just days after her father returned to the board of directors after last summer’s removal following the allegations of sexual misconduct.
The Axios outlet reported that McMahon-Levesque and her husband Paul were opposed to the WWE being sold with Paul Levesque remaining on board as chief content officer and a member of the board.
