NXT dropped to its lowest 18-49 audience of the year while finishing #28 among cable originals on Tuesday.
The January 24th episode averaged 607,000 viewers and approximately 162,000 (0.12) in the 18-49 demographic. (Data: Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily).
While viewership was up slightly at 1 percent, the 18-49 audience fell by 13 percent to its lowest mark since a taped edition of the show on December 27, 2022.
In the key demo, it was female viewership increased by 15 percent while males in the demo declined by 22 percent.
It was similar in the 18-34 demo where women were up by 36 percent and men dropped by 34 percent.
For adults 35-49, females increased by 5 percent this week and males declined by 17 percent.
Adults 50+ grew from 0.34 to 0.36 this week.
The show ranked #28 among cable originals and aired against the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat that averaged 1,046,000 viewers and 0.33 in the demo, as well as back-to-back college basketball games on ESPN, which were all among the top seven programs on cable on Tuesday.
NXT included a show-closing Women’s Championship Summit involving champion Roxanne Perez and her Vengeance Day challenges, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. Throughout the episode, they teased a break-up of Toxic Attraction and was a swerve for the final segment when they revealed it was a plot and they double-teamed Perez and put her through a table.
