The House of Black are the new AEW Trios World Champions after an action-packed match against The Elite at AEW Revolution.

Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King defeated Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks to capture the titles. Matt Jackson took the pinfall from Malakai Black.

The result ends The Elite’s second reign as Trios Champions. Omega and the Bucks won the titles back from Death Triangle in the final match of their best-of-seven series on the January 11th episode of Dynamite.

It was a frenetic match, and brought forth the biggest reaction of the night from the San Francisco crowd up to that point. Noteworthy spots included Julia Hart taking an accidental V-Trigger from Omega.

In the closing stretch, The Elite hit the BTE-Trigger on Malakai Black but couldn’t get the pin. The Young Bucks set up for the Meltzer Driver but Buddy Matthews interfered to break it up. The House of Black then managed to hit the Dante’s Inferno to set up the pinfall.
