Cody Rhodes, mixed tag match added to Friday Night SmackDown

Several matches and appearances have been announced for Friday Night SmackDown in Kansas City.

The show will include the #1 contenders match between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus to determine who will challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania in two weeks.

On Friday afternoon, it was revealed that Cody Rhodes will be appearing on the show, although Roman Reigns is not advertised. The two are scheduled for a segment together this Monday on Raw in St. Louis.

There will also be a mixed tag match as Rhea Ripley & Dominik Mysterio take on Santos Escobar & Zelina Vega, and Sami Zayn will confront Jey Uso.

The show airs at 8 p.m. ET tonight on Fox from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
