Over The Top Wrestling made a brief statement on Saturday morning that Davey Richards will no longer appear at its Ireland shows this weekend.

Richards, who is the subject of domestic violence allegations, did appear at an OTT-run show in Wolverhampton, England, on Friday evening, per fans in attendance.

After multiple promotions cut ties with the 40-year-old on Friday, he issued a statement acknowledging the domestic violence allegations against him. In the statement, he denied the allegations and announced his retirement.

OTT is in the middle of its biggest weekend of the year, with the National Stadium in Dublin playing host to Scrappermania 7 on Saturday night.

Belfast is the venue for The Show after Mania at the Europa Hotel on Sunday.

The weekend’s events have been subject to several changes, with Jon Moxley originally billed but having to withdraw for AEW’s inaugural ‘House Rules’ untelevised live event in Ohio.

AEW announced that it was sending PAC and Eddie Kingston in Moxley’s place. However, Friday saw an announcement that Kingston had tested positive for COVID-19 and would no longer compete.
