As a result of the injury, Naya is out of the King of DDT tournament.

DDT Pro-Wrestling’s Yukio Naya is going to be out of action for the foreseeable future as he is sidelined with a broken ankle.

The promotion pushed the news out on March 28th and in a follow up to that, it was shared that Naya is going to be replaced by Yusuke Okada in the King of DDT tournament.

The injury occurred in a tag match on March 26th. Last week, Naya challenged for the KO-D Openweight Championship. He noted on Twitter that a doctor told him he’s looking at a two-to-three month recovery period.

The show that Yukio Naya challenged for the KO-D Openweight Title on was DDT’s ‘Judgment’ event, which featured the debut of Samuray Del Sol. To read the results, click here.
