EFFY: We are sold out at the UCC. They said I was too gay, too aggressive, and too loud. So, I took my big gay ball and made my own world. And the world said hell yeah! This is the 6th Big Gay Brunch and the first sold-out Big Gay Brunch. We have people returning and people who don’t even watch wrestling but heard there was a wild party, which there is. We have the wonderful J Rose here announcing all night, but most importantly, our stunning queen and the most gorgeous host of all time, Pollo Del Mar! One more thing before we get started, there is a legacy of LGBTQ people in wrestling that’s been ignored for a long time. Where is Tex Green? Please welcome the legendary wrestling pioneer, Tex Green! Because of people like you, because of people who worked in wrestling and finally found the courage to be themselves, we have the chance today to be ourselves all the time in a business that is not fair to us. I’ve been reading a lot of crazy stuff this week, and you know how far we’ve come, but we have a long way to go. We will not tolerate any dirty language today, we will not tolerate any hate speech, we will not tolerate anything other than ‘yes, you look gorgeous, yes, you look perfect, and you are you.’ So, Tex, if you don’t mind, I’d like you to welcome everyone at Big Gay Brunch.
Tex: “You don’t know what I had to go through when I was coming out in 1957. I came out to wrestling in 1973 when I realized I didn’t care what they thought, I was going to be myself. After making a name, they wanted me, but they just wanted me to keep my mouth shut. Some places I did, and in some places, I didn’t. I guess in ’84, I didn’t…AC Mack interrupted.”
The crowd chanted You Fucked up and Tex is gonna Kill you at AC Mack as Tex stalked the ring,
AC Mack: I want each and everyone one of you to get out of my ring.

EFFY: I told you for the 6th time, here in Los Angles, we would make it fucking gay. But remember as much of a celebration as this room was, as much fun as we had here, there are still motherfuckers attacking our trans friends, our trans family, our trans brothers, and sisters. Take the joy this brings you and make sure you outwardly project that energy and put it into protecting trans lives. Trans Lives Matter. Wrestling is so fucking gay, thank you so much.
