CM Punk misses wrestling and wants to make a comeback, Dax Harwood has said, as a separate report states that the sidelined star has told AEW he is willing to return.

During the latest episode of ‘FTR with Dax Harwood’, released on Wednesday, Harwood also floated the idea of a trios match between FTR & Punk and The Elite for All In at Wembley Stadium in August.

On Punk’s potential return, Harwood added:

I will say that I talk to Punk almost every day, and Punk misses wrestling … Punk wants to come back and he wants to give back to the fans — he wants to give back to wrestling. I’ll leave it at that.

Meanwhile, Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful Select (subscription content) has reported that Punk has been in regular contact in recent weeks with AEW regarding a potential return.

The report states that Punk has pitched several ideas for a comeback, ranging from working with The Elite to being kept completely separate from them.
