Wai Ting, Jordan Goodman and Neal Flanagan are joined by Carl Martin, licensed therapist and active professional wrestling manager, to talk about mental health care and culture in wrestling.
Carl is a US Army veteran who pursued a career in mental health because therapy was vital to him after a family tragedy in his teens.
Despite a successful career, as an outlet for his need for creativity and connection, he gravitated to professional wrestling, training at the famous Monster Factory school before finding his calling as a manager.
He shares his story with us and our audience, and speaks about his wish to use his talents in and out of the ring to improve pro wrestling for everyone.
