IMPACT on AXS notes: Purrazzo retains, Callihan one-ups The Design again, Swinger’s win is reversed

Closing out the April 27th IMPACT Wrestling on AXS was a Knockouts World Title match that saw Deonna Purrazzo best Taylor Wilde to retain. Post-match, Purrazzo was beaten down by Knockouts World Tag Team Champions The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King). Jordynne Grace ran in for the save.

Earlier in the night, Grace picked up a win over Masha Slamovich.

The Design (Deaner, Kon & Angels) put Sami Callihan on notice for turning his back on them at Rebellion. As Kon and Angels were competing against IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Chris Bey and Ace Austin, Callihan ambushed Deaner on the outside and The Design went on to lose the match.

Johnny Swinger is on the road to 50 wins and he attempted to sneak his first win. He had his partner Zicky Dice come out in a bodysuit and mask. Dice was billed as ‘El Dineroco’. When they got to the backstage area, Santino Marella called it out and reversed the decision.

Scheduled for the May 4th IMPACT on AXS are the following matches:

  • Steve Maclin, Champagne Singh & Shera vs. PCO, TBA & TBA
  • Moose & Brian Myers vs. Bhupinder Gujjar & Yuya Uemura
  • Alisha Edwards vs. Jody Threat
