TAJIRI receives the checks multiple times a year.

From 2001-2008 and 2016-2017, TAJIRI was with WWE. He returned to the company as a part of the Cruiserweight Classic tournament and then went on to be part of the 205 Live brand before departing in April 2017.

TAJIRI posted a note to his blog and the cover photo is a check from WWE. He noted in the post that he has not been with the company in quite some time but he still receives merchandise checks three or four times a year, as per contract.

To close out 2022, TAJIRI departed All Japan Pro Wrestling and in the new year, he officially joined Kyushu Pro Wrestling
