Kai’s injury is confirmed.
As a result of Liv Morgan being injured on the 5/12 Friday Night SmackDown, Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez had to relinquish the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships and new champions are going to be crowned on the 5/29 Monday Night Raw.
During tonight’s Raw broadcast, commentators Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves were talking about Morgan’s injury and Graves confirmed that Kai suffered an injury in that same match.
F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer reported that Kai suffered a torn ACL and is scheduled to undergo surgery on 5/23.
Kai is a member of the Damage CTRL group with IYO SKY and Bayley, who are competing in the four-way for the vacant Women’s Tag Titles.
