Seth Rollins has been crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion at WWE Night of Champions.

The back-and-forth match with AJ Styles ended after Rollins intercepted a Phenomenal Forearm with a superkick. Shortly thereafter, Rollins nailed the Pedigree and The Stomp to get the pinfall win.

Paul Levesque came to the ring to present Rollins with the Championship.

Rollins has held each of the previous top titles, the WWE Championship and the WWE Universal Championship, twice. He is also a former NXT Champion, United States Champion, Intercontinental Champion and WWE Tag Team Champion.

The new title belt was unveiled by Paul Levesque during Monday Night Raw on Monday, April 24th. The title will be exclusive to Raw, while Roman Reigns continues to hold the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on SmackDown.

Michael Cole noted that its design pays homage to “the McMahons, Bruno Sammartino” and the 60-year history of WWE.
