AEW Dynamite dropped in its key demographic viewership, although attracted its largest audience in the past two months.

The May 31 episode from San Diego coming off Double or Nothing averaged 923,000 viewers and 374,000 (0.29) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics.

Its overall viewership was up by nine percent over last week and its largest number since March 22. However, the 18-49 demographic dropped by 11 percent from last week and was at a two-week low.

The 18-49 demo was most impacted by a 29 percent decline among women in the demo. Showbuzz Daily has experienced a delay in reporting the ratings this week, so we don’t know how the other shows performed, but the large decline in women for AEW is almost assuredly due to Vanderpump Rules. The Bravo reality series aired its second of three reunion specials this past Wednesday against the second hour of Dynamite and led to AEW Dynamite’s lowest number of women in the key demo for a Wednesday episode since launching on TBS in January 2022.

Males 18-49 only dropped by four percent while adults 18-34 declined by 24 percent this week (lowest since March 15).

Adults 35-49 were only down by two percent.

In Canada, the show averaged 103,400 viewers and 59,500 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, which represented increases of 37 and 10 percent over the previous week. It was Dynamite’s largest audience in Canada since April 19.
