Desperado wants Moxley again.
Over the weekend of June 2nd, El Desperado competed at Game Changer Wrestling’s Tournament of Survival and Cage of Survival events.
After one of his matches, Desperado recorded a video for NJPW’s social and digital channels and he called out AEW’s Jon Moxley. Desperado stated that he is ‘jonesing’ to follow up on what he did with Moxley the last time they went one-on-one, which was at Music City Mayhem in the summer of 2022. Moxley defeated Desperado in a No Disqualification match.
Desperado added that he’s heard NJPW STRONG is doing ‘some cool things soon’. The STRONG brand is running Korakuen Hall on July 4th and 5th.
Moxley was in Japan for Dominion and he tagged with Shota Umino and ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli to challenge NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii.
