Mercedes Moné is recovering from her injury sustained last month at NJPW Resurgence.
In an Instagram story post, Moné displayed a photo of her foot in a cast with the caption, “Day 6 recovery”.

The exact injury has not been disclosed, although the cast indicates a foot and/or ankle injury.
Moné was on the top rope with Willow Nightingale during their NJPW Strong Women’s Championship final when Mone slipped off the top and landed on the floor. She was unable to put weight on her foot as they made their way to the finish of the match, which Nightingale won after two attempts at a Doctor Bomb.
It was later reported that Moné was scheduled to win the match prior to her injury.
