Damian Priest secured the final spot in the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match when he defeated Matt Riddle. Priest is joining a field that consists of Ricochet, L.A. Knight, Santos Escobar, Butch and Shinsuke Nakamura.
Priest’s Judgment Day faction-mate Finn Bálor is taking on Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. While Bálor was conversing with Jordan Devlin, Priest approached him and brought up the tension between them. Bálor asked Priest if he wins Money in the Bank, would he cash-in on him and Priest said he would never do that.
In the main event, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defeated GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. Riddle made his way to the ring during the bout and that drew GUNTHER’s attention.
