New Japan Pro Wrestling has released a 35-minute documentary about last year’s inaugural AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on YouTube.
Made in 2022, the documentary was previously available only to NJPW World subscribers.
To coincide with the run-up to Forbidden Door II, the show will be available free on YouTube for one week. It was uploaded on Sunday evening.
The documentary includes interviews with Sting, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Chris Jericho, William Regal, Shingo Takagi, and Tony Schiavone, among others.
Jericho, Regal and Sting recall their histories of wrestling in Japan, before pivoting to the road to the first Forbidden Door.
It also includes match footage and post-match comments from the likes of Minoru Suzuki, FTR, and Jay White.
