Pretty Deadly appeared to confirm an injury to Elton Prince’s shoulder during a promo on Saturday’s episode of The SmackDown LowDown.

The pair appeared fully in character in the interview segment, which was recorded after SmackDown on Friday night.

Prince appeared with Kit Wilson after their victory over the Brawling Brutes, sporting a sling on his left arm. Pointing to his shoulder, he told Kayla Braxton:

Let me make this absolutely clear to everybody. This is the kind of injury that puts the average person out for years. I’d say I’d say career-ender.

This is a career-ending injury. But not for me. Oh, no, no. I might just take a couple of weeks off. And then I’ll probably be back to, you know, I’ll be spiffing again, boy.

Although very clearly exaggerating the level of injury, the promo does appear to indicate some level of damage. The injury was first reported by Mike Johnson of PW Insider.

The exact nature of the injury or a timescale for recovery is not known.

Ridge Holland took to Twitter to wish Prince a quick recovery and to let his followers know that his delivery of a belly-to-belly suplex was not the source of the injury.
