WWE Raw scored a three-week in its viewership figures on Monday’s episode from the State Farm Arena.
The July 17 episode from Atlanta averaged 1,855,000 viewers and 742,000 (0.57) in the 18-49 demographic (Wrestlenomics & PW Torch)
It was Raw’s best performance since June 26 with a 3% increase in viewership and a 2% jump in the 18-49 demo from last week’s episode, which aired against ESPN’s coverage of the Home Run Derby.
The show finished first among all television programs on Monday, according to PW Torch.
Raw started with 1,881,000 viewers in the first hour featuring the opening angle involving Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar. The show grew to 1,939,000 viewers in the second hour and dropped to 1,745,000 viewers in the final hour with a main event involving Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn against Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio.
Adults 18-34 dropped by 8% including a 20% decline with women in the demo to 82,000 viewers, which is on the low end.
Adults 35-49 grew by 8% over the last week.
In Canada, the show averaged 268,500 viewers and 100,200 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. With the Toronto Blue Jays not playing on Monday, WWE Raw was the #1 sports program in the country on Monday beating out several other MLB games.
Last year during this week, Raw averaged 1,765,000 viewers and 604,000 (0.46) in the demo airing against the Home Run Derby. Raw increased by 5% in viewers, 23% in 18-49, and 13% in 18-34 without factoring in the difference in cable homes USA Network is in this year compared to last.
