Steph De Lander recounts wrestling in front of Florida governor Ron DeSantis at WWE PC

According to De Lander, talents were called to the Performance Center for it.

VICE Australia conducted a sit-down interview with Steph De Lander, formerly known as ‘Persia Pirotta’ during her time with WWE.

A clip from the interview was shared on TikTok and in the clip, De Lander opened up about her experience living in the state of Florida. She then shared that she once wrestled in front of governor Ron DeSantis at the WWE Performance Center. She said he wanted to have a wrestling show for his kids, so talents were called to the P.C. to perform on a Saturday morning.

I’ve wrestled in front of him (Florida governor Ron DeSantis). I wrestled for DeSantis, yeah. I did meet him. He came to the (WWE) P.C. once. We got called in on a Saturday that Ron DeSantis wanted to have a wrestling show for his kids so him and his family came in and they sat front row and we all beat each other up on a Saturday morning because he wanted to take his kids to see wrestling.

Over the weekend, De Lander alongside Matt Cardona debuted for DDT Pro-Wrestling at the Wrestle Peter Pan event. Cardona defeated Tetsuya Endo to become Universal Champion.
