Lio Rush is ‘out with injury’ per GCW, which replaces him for upcoming show

Lio Rush is injured, according to Game Changer Wrestling, which has pulled him from a SummerSlam weekend event.

GCW ‘My Name Is’ takes place on Friday, August 4^th at Harpo’s Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. Rush was scheduled to face Mike Bailey at the show.

Blake Christian will replace Rush in the match against Bailey.

The news came in a pair of social media posts from GCW on Wednesday evening. Lio Rush has not commented on the situation, and no further details are currently available.

Lio Rush is the current IMPACT X-Division Champion. He is billed for a tag match at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 on Sunday, August 20^th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In that match, he is scheduled to team with Trey Miguel to take on Mike Bailey & Hiromu Takahashi.
