Pro Wrestling NOAH’s AMAKUSA suffers torn ACL

The former Junior Heavyweight Champion is out indefinitely. 

On August 10th, AMAKUSA competed in a tournament match to determine the next challengers to the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. He suffered a left knee injury during the bout. 

Pro Wrestling NOAH provided an update on AMAKUSA and revealed that he suffered a torn ACL. The promotion announced that they’ll keep the public updated on his recovery through their social media platforms. 

From December 2022 to April of this year, AMAKUSA was GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion. He’s been working dates for NOAH since 2019.
