Both talents have called for the match.
On the 8/22 episode of NWA Powerrr, Chris Adonis and World Television Champion Thom Latimer took on 2023 Crockett Cup tournament winners Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox.
Adonis turned on Latimer and left him to Knox and Murdoch. NWA pushed out a video on their digital platforms from Latimer and he stated that he’ll be defending the TV Title at NWA 75 against Adonis. He said one of Adonis’ reasons for ambushing him was because he was not scheduled for the upcoming pay-per-view, but Latimer added that neither was he.

Prior to this match being made official, Latimer shared his intentions to make one more defense of the TV Title and then cash in for a shot at the Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
