WWE has announced Tyler Bate and Joe Coffey as entrants in the NXT Global Heritage Invitational.
They are the first two of eight competitors to be named for the tournament.
As outlined during Wednesday’s episode of The Bump, the round-robin tournament will include eight wrestlers in two blocks, with the two block winners meeting on the September 26th episode of NXT.
Bate has been assigned to Block A, and Coffey to Block B.
Matches will have a 12-minute time limit. Pinfall or submission victories earn two points and end the match. A draw earns one point for both competitors.
The tournament winner will challenge Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup on September 30th at NXT No Mercy in Bakersfield, California.
