Ichiban added to MLW’s talent roster.
Taking place on 9/3 is Major League Wrestling’s Fury Road special that is streaming on FITE+. Among the matches on the card is a singles bout between ‘Hot Sauce’ Tracy Williams and Ichiban.
MLW CEO Court Bauer appeared on Busted Open Radio to chat Fury Road. He revealed that MLW has signed Ichiban to a deal.
I think over time, you’re gonna see guys like Ichiban who is a breakout guy out of the northeast region. Now, we’re trying to take him to the next level, national, the international level. I think he’s gonna be a guy to be on the lookout for. He’s very talented and he’s been killing it in the New England area and that’s where I said, ‘Okay, we gotta sign this guy’ and I can tell you guys this officially as an exclusive here, we just signed Ichiban and he’s a prospect that we’re looking for big things from… and he’s facing ‘Hot Sauce’ Tracy Williams on this show (MLW Fury Road) so that’s gonna be a great match, great styles.
Headlining Fury Road is Alex Kane defending the MLW World Heavyweight Championship against Willie Mack.
