Velvet Sky has announced her departure from the NWA shortly following the company’s 75th Anniversary shows.
Sky, who has served as a broadcaster for the promotion announced she was leaving effective immediately with the following statement posted.
Going forward, I will no longer be a part of the @NWA.
I wanna thank Billy for the opportunity, & thank you to each person I worked with as it was so much fun & I learned so much from Joe & Tim on commentary.
I wish the NWA my best with everything.

Sky wrestled for TNA from 2007 during the launch of its Knockouts division and last worked there in 2016. During her career, she held the Knockouts Championship twice and the Knockouts tag titles once as a member of The Beautiful People.
She last wrestled in March 2016 on a Northeast Wrestling card and began working as a commentator with the NWA in March 2021.
Sky did not go into detail regarding her decision to leave the company and is scheduled to appear at the IMPACT 1000 taping on Saturday night in White Plains, New York.
