Ice Ribbon announces Hikari Minami will undergo surgery for fractured left elbow

Minami is sidelined with an elbow injury. 

On September 17th, Ice Ribbon held a show in Tokyo, Japan and the card featured a tag match that saw Hamuko Hoshi and Ibuki Hoshi defeat Hikari Minami and Makoto via referee’s decision. 

As the match was ongoing, Minami suffered an injury. In an update from Ice Ribbon, the promotion noted on their social channels that Minami fractured her left elbow and will be undergoing surgery. 

Her expected recovery time is five months. She sent a message via Ice Ribbon that she is going to do her best to make a comeback. 

Minami began her in-ring career in the early 2000s. From 2006-2012, she was with Ice Ribbon and this year, she made her return the promotion.
