An NXT Title match taking place on Raw.
Kicking off the 9/18 edition of Monday Night Raw was Cody Rhodes. He was interrupted by NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio before the two went one-on-one. Rhodes secured the win in their match.
As the match got underway, cameras cut over to ringside and seated in the front row was NXT’s Dragon Lee. A graphic was shown to promote an NXT North American Championship match on the 9/25 Raw that’ll see Mysterio defending against Lee. Back on the 8/8 NXT, with help from WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Dominik retained his title over Dragon Lee.
Dominik is scheduled to be in a non-title match on the 9/19 NXT on USA Network against NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes.
If Mysterio is to retain over Dragon Lee, he’ll be headed to the No Mercy Premium Live Event on September 30th to defend against Mustafa Ali.
