NJPW’s Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma appearing in drama series ‘Paripi Komei’

They’ll be in the first episode. 

Episode one of the Fuji TV series, ‘Paripi Komei’, will feature New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma. It is a drama series that kicks off September 27th. 

Both Makabe and Honma are playing the roles of brother-in-law to ‘Lui Bei’, who is being portrayed by Dean Fujioka. Below is the synopsis for the show

General of the Three Kingdoms, Kongming had struggled his whole life, facing countless battles that made him into the accomplished strategist he was. So on his deathbed, he wished only to be reborn into a peaceful world and was sent straight to modern-day party-central, Tokyo! Can even a brilliant strategist like Kongming adapt to the wild beats and even wilder party people.

The first episode of Paripi Komei will have an additional 15 minutes of runtime. There are ten episodes scheduled to air.
