John Cena will team with LA Knight next weekend at the WWE Fastlane event.
In the closing segment of Friday Night SmackDown, Knight came to the aid of Cena against Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa as they fought off The Bloodline and Knight signed the contract.
Knight missed last Friday’s episode after testing positive for COVID-19.
Friday’s show also saw a Women’s Championship three-way announced for Fastlane as IYO SKY defends her title against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. The match was set up after Bayley made the match without consulting SKY.
Rey Mysterio issued a challenge for the L.W.O. to take on Bobby Lashley & Street Profits, which is also expected for the show.
The card may see the addition of an Intercontinental Championship match between Gunther and Tommaso Ciampa, who have a contract signing on Raw but no date announced for the match.
